Patch Size: Patches should be 6 inches square, with a 1 inch border that must be left blank. (8 inch square in total). If you are unsure leave the border a little bigger.

Material: I prefer 100% cotton but also accept good quality polycotton or linen. Please do not use materials such as silk, satin, velvet or anything stretchy.
Colour: Please use a pale backing colour, such as white, off-white, pastels, etc. Bold colours such as hot neon pink and black will stick out like a sore thumb!
Design:You can create any pony-orientated design you wish (it need not be a pony, but perhaps Dream Castle or the Smooze). You can use any technique you wish - paper pieced, applique, machine or hand embroidery, fabric paints, cross-stitch, etc. However, it must be washable! Make sure you stay out of the 1 inch seam allowance.
Number per person: You can send as many patches as you like.
Fraying: If you feel the material is in danger of fraying, please also add a small hem. (Cotton should not fray if you have chosen a good quality piece).
Danger Zones! Patches cannot be accepted if:
- they are the wrong size. I'll be measuring!
- the patches are 'wonky'. I need straight seams.
- applique stitching is hidden unless intended to be seen
- the material is of especially poor quality.
- the design is inappropriate. Keep it G-rated!
